Author Guidelines

Publication in the journal is free of charge.

All the work with articles (submission, reviewing, etc.) is executed by means of the automated system of submission and electronic reviewing of articles.

Instructions for authors

  1. General

Original articles of up to 12-15 pages, review and analysis articles of up to 20-25 pages and short communications of 5-7 pages are accepted for publication.

A paper should be preceded by an abstract of up to 300 words and key words.

The abstract should not contain formulas, figures, tables, and references.

Only the International System of Units should be used.

All references in the list should be numbered in order of their appearance in the manuscript. Give the full list of references related to the topic under consideration, and avoid self-citation, if possible. The reference must contain the DOI (digital object identifier), except for the cases when it is not available.

  1. Format

The manuscript should be prepared in Microsoft Word or Latex text editors.

When using Microsoft Word, set the following parameters: 11 point Times New Roman font, single spaced. Page parameters: margins (top, bottom, left & right - in cm) - 2.1, 5.2, 3.8, 3.8; page format - A4 (210х297 mm).

  1. Formulas

Formulas should be typeset using MathType (preferably), because characters and symbols typeset in the Word’s built-in formula editor can be represented incorrectly when opened in another version. Use italic type for Latin letters, except for trigonometric and hyperbolic functions (sin, log, etc.) and terms such as min, max, opt; use Roman type for Russian and Greek letters.

  1. Figures

All illustrations, placed in the text of the article, should also be presented SEPARATELY as bit-map graphics in tif or jpg format. Colored illustrations are preferred, but black and white figures can be used as well. All the components in the illustrations should be clear, inscriptions should be easily readable. Each figure, diagram, graph should be an integral whole that can be scaled or repositioned without disturbing the image integrity. Figures, formulas and tables should be numbered in order of their appearance. Only continuous numbering is admitted.

  1. Authors

For each author, the following information should be given: full name, academic degree and rank, position, company, and title of honour.

Author contact data should be given: official address, phone numbers (office and mobile, if possible), fax number, and E-mail.

If the authors are the Russian Federation citizens, an expert report regarding the possibility of open access publication and an identification examination report are attached to the paper.

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The manuscripts are accepted if has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

  2. The materials should be prepared in a format OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or World Perfect.

  3. Internet links are provided as a complete URL. 

  4. Text should be typed with an interval of one and a half line spacing, font Times New Roman, 14 pt; to highlight the accents it is recommended to use italics rather than underlining (except Internet links). All images, graphics and tables are placed within the text according to the meaning of the particular part of text  (and not at the end of the document).

  5. Text should follow the stylistic and bibliography requirements as stated in  Regulations  located in the Part "About Us." 

  6. Please, remove the authors' names from the title of the article and other parts of the document to ensure the  anonymity of reviewing.
